Default Mufflers

Are any of you guys running the new CMI Sound Elimination System mufflers? If so did they bring your decibel levels down alot? I got stopped yesterday and am at 101.5 and need to be at 90 or below. I can't use the down tubes from CMI because of my staggered setup. Thanks, Steve.

This is what scares me.

I also could use a set not because I am getting stopped but after I shut it down in marinas I get the applause.
Running at 45oo for a hour gives me a ring in the ears also.
I am afraid that the mufflers that are effective bringing down the decibels below 90 will not support Hp levels in the 1100
plus area.

Check out the set of 4, that I have advertised in the "other parts and acc." section, ad #63, today. I can make them "clamp-on" or bolt on, I have all the parts and equip. to do it either way. Any size inlet that you need.
I'm open to reasonable offers.

I'll checkout the add, thanks. If I had a side by side motor setup, it would be easy. Wes 114 is up there, thanks for the info, Steve.

I run GGB's on 750HP NA and they are very quite with NO LOSS of PERFORMANCE. I think Lofty on the board is THE US distributor. Joe Murray

I have GGB's with Keith Eickert headers and was 94db at idle.

I had to add "downtubes" to pass our 86db noise law.

Isn't GGB out of buisness

Why can't you use the down tubes with staggered? I put down tubes on my 37 QuadStep Outerlimits, they work well, I DID have to cut 4 inches off them so they were not as deep in the water. When the downtubes were full length, with the staggered #6 drives, they were blowing straight down on top of the front of the steering and water was deflecting into them, with the 4 inches cut off they're mint !
