Do not know about boats but I just bought a 2005 5th wheel trailer. I had looked at it and we liked it. The dealer wanted more for it then I could buy newer at other deaiers. Wife and I talked right before I was going to buy a dfferent one but decided to give them a call. Called sales manager and asked him how long he was going to keep that trailer. He then gave me a price which he said was his cost. I said that I could buy a 2006 for that price so he said make him a offier. I offered 8K less then what he said his cost was. He took it.

I just bought the last 06 sea ray 44 they had at lake of the ozarks. They took 36% off the list price, rigged it for free, and gave me a full tank of gas. In june they would only take off about 25% for the same boat.

I agree, and don't kid yourself these dealers are gagging on there(manufacturers) stock, depending on what part of the country your in(specifically the cold climate areas) the
next month or two the buyer has the upper hand to negotiate a great deal, obviously they don't want to sit on it all winter.
