Re: How long do dealers keep new boats
Do not know about boats but I just bought a 2005 5th wheel trailer. I had looked at it and we liked it. The dealer wanted more for it then I could buy newer at other deaiers. Wife and I talked right before I was going to buy a dfferent one but decided to give them a call. Called sales manager and asked him how long he was going to keep that trailer. He then gave me a price which he said was his cost. I said that I could buy a 2006 for that price so he said make him a offier. I offered 8K less then what he said his cost was. He took it.

next month or two the buyer has the upper hand to negotiate a great deal, obviously they don't want to sit on it all winter.
