Yep - I passed that live a few hours ago. I was heading to my office this afternoon and was trying to figure out what all the traffic was at 1:30... then I saw that. They had two big wreckers trying to hoist it onto a low-bed and get it out of the way.

It was being passed by a "cigar boat" being hauled to a PokerRun.

Now PokerRun's will be extinct.

And all "cigar boat" insurance will go through the roof.
Legislation is going to be proposed to make it illegal to haul a "cigar boat"
:D

Re: Someone lost a Bayliner!!!!

The same thing happened a couple of years ago to a scarab on the 134 freeway about 2 miles from me. Guy driving wasn't paying attention, had to stop abruptly, rear ended a big truck and the boat shot off the trailer and over the bed of the tow vehicle. Funny seeing two wreckers try to pick it up and drag it off the freeway. Then one genius figured he could drag it up onto the flatbed.... even funnier seeing it balanced on the edge of a flatbed, drives dragging along the pavement.

Yep, and wait until the manufacturer of the shoe laces used for tie downs gets its butt sued. Their product liability insurance is going to go ballistic!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.

They don't call them "Bay Grinders" for nothing...

One time at the marina we were putting a Bayliner Cierra up on cinder blocks for winter storage. We started letting the weight off the fork lifts and the front cinder block under the keel started pushing thru the bottom of the boat!!

Did Cash Bar get a new boat? Thought he may have taken the plunge and was trucking it home.

If it was an MTI, we all know it would have been Gino's bad luck again.
