Re: Need to ship boat from NH to Miami
There is a guy around Plaistow that I used before to ship a boat from NH to Ft Lauderdale. He has a house there, and one around Coco Beach, and all he does is run back and forth between the two. Best price I found by far. Unofficial name was Stormin' Norman, but he does have a business name, but I can't remember right now, sorry. Anyways someone in the area may be able to find him.

If you ask anyone on this board my reputation speaks for itself. I carry $500.000 in cargo insurance Some people on here will tow your boat but do not have the proper paper work to back them up.

I never knocked you, you read the post wrong. What I was saying is that there are people on here that will move a boat without the proper cargo insurance or truck or license to do the job legal. It works until there is a problem and then the boat owner takes it in the poop shoot. I have never met you or talked to you and you may be perfectly legal. Don't be offended unless you can not meet the above requirements.

If you are charging the normal rate of about 2.00 per mile then you should meet the legal standards for transport. If you don't have the proper insurance and the customer understands this then you can afford to do it much cheaper.
