I had a fun time at the run and I gotta say the guy with the 29 Fountain had his hands full when he chopped the throttle back after his first run. That boat looked like it was all over the place. He did a good job keeping it together. His slow down method the second time looked a lot safer.
Looking forward to next year.

Tom Cat is not my boat, it is owned by Jim and Jean Miller. Won't know how bad the motor is until its taken apart. Guesses range from head gasket to rings. It looks like it ran lean coming over in the morning. It really is an awsome boat.

Shawn, this is an occasion that the Lifeline vest, impeded operation. He pulled the throttle back, and hit a side roller at the same time. This caused him to lurch forward. With the bulk of the vest, it was difficult to correct the boat, before it got out of shape. Just another example of how a small action, can quickly lead to a serious situation.
