Boat Lift Question
For those of you that have a 2 piling lift, with 2 "L" arms that the boat sits on, how long is your boat and how far apart are the arms?

Re: Boat Lift Question
I install them no more than 11' apart and runners 16' long.Hope this helps.

Re: Boat Lift Question
A lot depends on the length of the boat, usually install them 10' - 12' apart and again depending on the length of the boat we have used bunks as long as 20'.

Re: Boat Lift Question
I'm putting in a new bulkhead. the pilings will be 5' apart. So correct me if I'm wrong. If I mount the lift on those pilings, 10' apart, I should be fine? My boat now is 24'. If I got a 30' all I need is to do is get longer bunks. The lift should handle a 30', it's rated for 10,000lbs. Bought it anticipating a larger boat.
