27daytona, the damage if repaired in a quality manner shouldn't hurt the value since its not a brand new boat. its amazing no one was killed on your boat, being run over like that! take care and good luck with it, rm

Thanks for the reply guys. I am confident that the repairs will turn out fine. I do not intend to sell it anytime soon but I would disclose the accident at that time. I have a wall in my home dedicated to the boat with damaged parts on it from the past problems, five blade prop minus a blade, burnt pistons and I will include crash pictures and a badly mangled spark arrestor and a hood scoop. I can not wait for next years boating season. I need a good year of boating. Thanks again. Doug

Its more like the broken boat wall of shame and this is probably why Doug is currently adding on to his house...one wall or even one room for that matter is not enough to showcase his bad luck trophies. As far as the resale value goes...it almost dropped as fast the girls panties at one of my hot tub parties.
