Nice video Hot Duck. Now maybe I'll quit drooling over that PB tow rig so much !!!

Really, how nice is the PB 330? Did you look at or drive any other mediums? Conclusions?

Post another picture of it.

I did look at a bunch of medium duty trucks, but I kept going back to this model from Lone Star Haulers because I liked the cab configuration. Everybody else had just a plain crew cab while this is basically an extended crew cab. We can travel anywhere with everybody in one truck. I will tell you that the truck rides kinda rough without the boat, but the weight of the boat fixes that. The truck does have the air ride suspension, cab and seats, but it is still rough without the weight of the boat. When I say rough I am not talking about a beat your fillings out rough, but it is similar to the ride of our old F-450 when it was empty with no weight.

There are a lot of nice medium duty trucks out there and I think that my second choice would have been the Ford Supercrewzer. That was a really nice truck too and it had the same 3126 Cat engine. The Pete was the choice because of the cab. There are some times when going through towns that I wish I had gone with a shorter truck, but overall I am happy with the Pete.

Here are a few old pics of the Pete and boat together before everything was lettered. I don't have any recent pictures of the truck and boat together. Here is a picture of the Supercrewzer too. We had the use of one for a race a few years ago as a promotional deal and it was a really nice truck!

Thanks for the info. What I also like best about the Pete is the extended Crew cab, flat floor, and the outside drawer storage system. Less climbing for luggage and supplies.

I also like the Supercrewzer and the International RXT haulers. The wife doesn't like the hooded look of the Supercrewzer. I don't mind it. Looks much better than the utilitarian metal bodies.

You definitely have a show-stopping rig there. Congrats!!

The drawers are great and they are huge. I use one for tools and stuff for roadside repairs and one for a cooler. I found a cooler that fits perfectly inside one of the drawers. The other two are used for luggage and whatever else we need to carry. The best thing is that they stay absolutely dry in the rain. Here are a few pictures of the drawers.
