Gee Scott, thanks for all the kind words, you deserve a great big "THANK YOU" too. Without you and your crews help, it would'nt've been possible.
I missed this thread till today. The day you posted it was the day before we were supposed to leave for Sarasota. That day, we had a big storm come through, and lost all power for about 24 hours, right before we wanted to leave. So for about a week, I hav'nt been on the puter.
Just want to say thank you to all the people that helped us put this event together. Alot of people travelled a long, long way to attend. Just to name a few, Mike Fiore and the whole Outerlimits team for bringing such nice hardware and the O/L semi truck to the event, The Fountain team with Reggie, Wyatt, Rich Troppolli & Anthony Smith with the Rio roses team, Bruce Bullock with the fine Skaters he brought, our own Steve Schubble with the OSO boat and team, Team Baja and International trucks for the Poker Face Team, Mark Miller with Grand Sport Marine our newest local Cigarette dealer for rounding up some of the finest Cigs and getting them entered, and all the local boys and girls that brought over their hardware to have a day in the waves for some fun and socializing.
We're already starting to plan some new ideas for the summer 07 Chicago Poker Run. Scott is correct about knowing all the work that goes into making an event successful and insuring that all the participants have a great time.
Hope to see everyone and then some at our next 07 event. Till then, look for us at the Chicago boat show next January.
