Default What's the deal? Scammers everywhere!

I have had my boat for sale for about 6 months. I have had a few serious inquiries, but I have gotten about 200 of these scam inquiries like the one below. In addition, I have gotten about 10 phone calls using a hearing assisted operator. After the second one I figured it out. What a waste of my time!!!

Sorry i'm just pissed because I haven't sold my boat and I just paid for storage till April.

F**K these criminals.

I keep getting calls from "brokers" that want to list my boat for more than I am asking and tell me I can get it. They want 200-400 dollars to list it in nationwide publications. I keep telling them that I won't pay that money but will gladly split the difference between my price and their idea of a price. That would equate to 2-4 thousand dollars according to their numbers. Of course no one has accepted my offer yet.

I sold my 94 F-150 back in 2001, I was asking 6K,I just got an e-mail the other day asking if they could send me a certified check for 8K to cover any shipping expenses to Nigeria.....

I bid on a Yamaha GP1300R waverunner last week on e-bay, It ended up not meeting reserve, I received 3 second chance offer for my last bid, fell for the first one and told the guy I wanted to drive out to Western NY to see it,,, turns out he is " out of country " right now but will arrange free shipping included...

That is a fake address, fake company and the letter reads as if written by a Nigerian.
