Default TRS Out......Konrad In !

I broke down and bought a set of Konrads for my 1985 Cigarette mistress. I am in the process of installing them now. My motors put out between 650-675HP. I was spinning 25" mirage plus props before inward and they wound the motors to about 4900 RPM. I want to run the RPMs around 5300RPM. The Konrads are also 1.38" shorter and I purchased the ones with nose cones. I was thinking 4 blades. I also installed the drives to spin outward for docking purposes. Any suggestions on props? Experience with Konrads.

Anyone interested in some great parts for a TRS setup, freshwater low hours, here is a link.....no disapointments.

You're going to need to post some pic's of the work in progress.
Let's see what ya got!!
Sound's like the Mis' is a good candidate for this upgrade. Not sure if anyone else on the board has made the same conversion on this hull.

My only question is why turning outward for docking?? - maybe I'm missing something - if so, please explain.

I am going to try spinning them out. I hope I don't loose any speed. Docking the boat is challenging with them turning in. I was told it would be easier if they were turning out. I will be posting some pictures of the install. I have one on, and one ready to go. Weather here has been slowing down the process.

We love our Konrads. Doller Offshore did the conversion from Bravo"type" drives to the Konrad this past spring. They solved our problems.

I know I will be happy with the purchase, I just want to know where to start with props.

I agree, 24 or 26 Bravo 1 four blade. I'd start with the 24.

Are you going to test before winterizing? I think I'm done.

Not going in the water, snow this weekend for me. I am finishing the install. I also need to buy props. Do I need special hubs for the Konrads or just the standard Bravo XR big shaft

No special hubs needed, just a standard XR style (1 1/4") hub.
