need boat loan
 

I have a buyer for my boat. !!!
he needs a boat loan. His credit union and another bank will only loan for about 1/2 the sell price of the boat based on NADA !!
we all know that NADA is way under.....

looking for loan less than $30k on 1988 Formula

Sorry but that's not true. Most equity loans are prime plus 0 (currently 8.25%), adjusting monthly. You can get fixed rate boat loans for less than that.

True......but you can get a fixed 2nd mortgage for 7.075% @ Citibank right now and write it off :D (credit permitting, and NO fees!!)

if you cant come up with only $15k for a toy, you shouldnt be playing. HELOC is the way to go vs. a boat loan if you must.

Heloc is a good option if you must - yes, its an experts opinion. What is your suggestion to the OP?

I called a couple of loans places on this board and it sounded like a pain in the azz to me. HELOC was the easiest for me.
