HORBA...Historic Offshore Race Boats Association, is pleased to announce that Don Aronow's oldest son Michael has agreed to serve on our Advisory Board.
After a long and very productive meeting today, Michael Aronow has also granted HORBA exclusive access to the Aronow Archives. These archives contain all of Don's letters, drawings, notes from each company he started, films of races he was in, photos etc. etc. This stuff is priceless. HORBA will be shaping up a Don Aronow section on the site to show this exclusive material. Also today, Michael has granted HORBA exclusive sales and distribution rights for a limited edition of Don's famous race boat.."The Cigarette". The cost of the model is $2,500. The limited edition run is only going to be 25 boats.... each numbered and signed by Michael Aronow.
Compare this cost with what you might spend on a normal poker run weekend and remember this can only go up in value in the future. So far numbers 1, 6, 7, and 13 have been requested in the numbered run...if you have interest and a number you want let us know as soon as possible.
