Default Bravo drives

I,m looking to purchase a 375 chris craft stinger it has bravo ones on it. The owner had this done at the factory when he ordered it in 1988,instead of TRS'S. What are the differences between no1's and no2's I know threes are douprops, But internaily. The boat weights 12,000 lbs. The owner said he has had no problems. Is this a good set up. Any input would be helpfull. Thanks John

Bravo 2's are typically only seen on Cruisers. I believe they are the same "strength" of a Bravo 1 but with a longer (deeper) lower. Not sure, but they may have different gear ratios too.

Its a heavy boat for Bravo's. The heavier the boat and the more HP it has, the more chance there is of breaking Bravo's. Not a huge difference between the amount of power a bravo and a TRS can handle. There are also many places than beef up the Bravos.

Like was said, bravo 2 & 3's are geared more toward cruisers. 2's run a larger diameter prop with lower gear ratios. 3's run counter rotating props.
