I think it looks great! I love the classic lines. I too hope the don't mess it up with the F16 canopies. Too many of the East coast boats look alike to me. That big swirl on the side or a cartoon type theme to them.

Most of today's graphics are a little over the top for my taste, but like FeverMike I imagine Eliminator did a perfect job with them.
As for comparision power, I'd say staggered 1075s would be interesting. I The conventional Eliminator/Scarab 43 would be slower than its stepped competitors of the same size, but its big-water ability and handling would rock.

Great boat I have 1991 straight bottom twin 605's and no 3
drives . It will see low 70's . My boat originally had twin 598 blower motors and no 6 drives and was told it would run a bit over 100 mph . All the same great big water boat wih alot of cockpit space and great lines . That boat does have a good freeboard as well . One point I would make is that it needs a taller wind screen than the original molded plexi one .
I am excited as it should firm up the value of the other 43's out there.

If it's the original 43 hull, as stated in the PB article in Oct./Nov. issue, I'm pretty sure that hull isn't stepped. That hull was introduced in 1992-93, and Scarb didn't add its AVS line of hulls, all of which were stepped, until much later.
Now, that's not to say Larry Smith didn't go back and modify the original at a later time and that the modified hull isn't the one Eliminator bought.
I could be wrong. Anyone know if the original 43 was stepped, or had steps added to the mold at a later date?
