OSS Super Vee National Champions
Bristol RI October 19, 2006
Outerlimits congratulates driver Brett Furshman and throttleman Joe Sgro on cinching the National OSS Championship Super V class in the new Outerlimits SV40. The SV40 is Outerlimits first serious factory backed racing effort.
The boat, owned by Mike Fiore, president of Outerlimits, has been specifically modified and built for the Super-V series. It is a new model, the Outerlimits SV40 which is based on the Outerlimits 39 Quattro hull and powered by Mercury Racing 525 EFI motors. The boat shares the same construction techniques as used in all Outerlimits powerboats, stated Paul Fiore, including post-cured epoxy resins and carbon fiber construction. This boat is one of the most technically advanced boats on the circuit and is being run by one of the most experienced teams around.
Outerlimits busy production schedule has been the reason for their late entry in the OSS racing series. We are excited to make our entry into the racing circuit, stated Mike Fiore. It was a great way to wrap up the 2006 season and we look forward to an extraordinary 2007.

Re: OSS Super Vee National Champions
OL is taking credit for this national championship? WOW What did they run what 2-3 laps in Vegas, then it broke down? Come on Tim, lets remeber they clinched the nationals by taking the green flag. FOUNTAIN is what got them there. Brett and Joe both deserve this one, they are true champs and I congatulate them for it, but certainly not OL. Why dont you tell your buddy Fiore to come and race the Yachts boat? Oh wait that would break up the mistique he has of running directly against Reggie then crying foul.
oh well long time overdue for Joe and Brett and yes the OL is a wonderful boat and beautiful boat. Congrats to you and best of luck with the new toy
