Nancy's Hooptie boat!!!

My In-Laws gave us this Whaler. After running it 3 times last week, it wouldn't run on Saturday. My neighbor had a spare engine in his garage, so I rigged her up today.

The new power is a '98 model "BIG JOHNSON" :D :D

I test ran it on the Gator in the garage. :drink:

I was reading it. I'm surprised that old JohnnyRude quit running. They run forever. Generally, if they don't run, it's a gummed up carb.

Thie old one runs, but it's a '79 and the wires are all brittle. I had a ground wire disintigrate in my hand. My neighbor replaced this after 1 season with a 50 and it's been in his garage. His wife is thrilled and I gave him $500 for it. Everyone is happy! I'll try to find someone that wants to give this old one a new home.
