I've had a Tropic that came with my boat for three years and no trouble.

Bern,
Check in with me if you decide on a new builder. I am considering a new aluminum (for a 38 fastech) and maybe we can arrange a discounted deal on 2 trailers. Since most come from FL they could be transported together (I'm in VA)
Russ C.
OR....you may want my trailer. All it needs is a new spindle on the front axle (can only tell it's a problem because the tire showed some wear after the 800 mile delivery to me this summer).
2002 8 inch aluminum I beam, aluminum wheels, front bunks. New front coupler, spare hub/tire assembly, jack stand already installed but it isn't "polished" the way I like them. The trailer just seems a little too short for the 382. The stepped bunks may even fit a 353.....Figured I let it go for about 1/3 of new.

Re: anyone have any connections for aluminum trailers
I just got an aluminum I-beam load rite bunk trailer from Camp Marine in Point Pleasant Beach. Dealt with Perry. I got a very good price and am very happy with the trailer. I'm not sure if if they go that big, but may be worth it to give a local guy a call.
