I HAVE HAD SEVERAL EXPERIENCES WITH EBAY RECENTLY WHERE I WAS OUTBID AND SO FORTH AT THE END. SOME OF THESE NONPAYERS ARE JUST FRIENDS/FAMILY WHO BID UP THE ITEMS IN HOPES OF OWNER GETTING MORE MONEY FOR THE PIECE. SAW IT HAPPEN TO ME TWICE AND GOT SECOND CHANCE OFFER. I WAS PIZZED BECAUSE I ALWAYS WONDERED HOW MUCH CHEAPER I COULD HAVE GOT IT IF THE FAKE BIDDING WOULD NOT HAVE BUMPED THE PRICE ON ME. ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK BERNS, CIG LOOKS GREAT, LIKE YOU SAID THOUGH, THERE ARE A TON OF EVERY BRAND OF BOATS OUT THERE FOR YOUR PICKING. MATCH UP THE AMENITIES YOU WANT AND PERFORMANCE NECESSITIES AND GO FROM THERE.

My mom had issues with eBay too with non-payers...people from Nigeria jacking up the auction, winning it, then not paying. Fukkers...

Cigarette!!!!! No questions asked! Its a big 30ft boat. It should be perfect for what you are looking for.

Good Luck

I like them all but the formula (how it is) is no race boat.

Bern,
All BS aside I think the Cigarette is the best boat overall and the best boat for you. You know Barnegat Bay probably better than I do and that will give you the best performance and useability in all our wonderful conditions. That is a pretty boat with timeless lines and would also be the easiest to trade up with for a bigger Cig down the road. Freshen up the 500's and whatever you put in to them just increased the boat value by the same #.

Good Luck and hopefully I can sell mine and get my own Cig to run with you!
