We got our TG through Lake Cumberland too. Great group of people, and very impressive inventory. They had a ton of boats on their lot...among other toys. :D

Tom how the hell are you? Please tell the wife I said hello. You should be able to convince her, hell you convinced her to get married. Are you coming to the keys for the race? One of these days we will catch up with each other.

I too bought my TG from Randy. Straight shooter - no BS.
He sent my boat from Kentucky to Va on a hand shake deal. If I liked it, I bought it. If not, he took it back. I liked it. :drink:

I was in an older 39 cig that took big power to go fast. This winter I was going to put another 100 grand into it, my goal was try to hit 100mph. Another great guy is Gill Lieber, he told me I was stupid to be putting as much money in the boat that I had. So two months later picked up new boat. Now this boat does 81 effortlessly. (Three guys full fuel on flat water boat did a real 81 GPS.) My only concern is how it handles big water. My older cig was awesome, but I did notice this ones bow flexes and all in all is a much lighter lay up. i will know this weekend on how it handles. They're calling for 8-10's but I will wait till it subsides to 3-4 footers.

I agree he is a trusting guy. My last boat purchase I needed a certified check and even then the guy was squirley. This time wrote Randy a check and he didn't even hesitate over it. I appreciated the respect and the hand shake type deal.

Brace yourself, i was at Gil's last weekend and saw your old cig, that is one bad ass boat i can't believe the room it has. Did you trade it in or are you selling it?

Gill's the man. He is a never ending storybook for boats... I traded my boat in. I would of needed to find a special buyer, and haveing recently put 200 k into it I wasn't willing to sift through the buyers trying to steal the boat.
