Hi;
The TUFF 28 with the first I/O got pushed back as recent demand for the TUFF 21 came out of no where.
Gauges are are in, mostly wired. We tooled new front seat shells for more of that MTI look. So it needs upholstery and the motor installed. 525 would be my choice. The big part left is to style the I/O hatch around the exhaust pipes, which will exit through the hatch.
I may miss the season here for the first run and may go south for the maiden voyage.

Mark

Nice boat. When you get the 28 finished I would suggest a little offshore racing to get exposure and prove your hull can run w/ the big dogs!

I think you are right about that. But I would need to build one with different controls layout for competition. Let me get this one dialed in and see how the balance is and then we will see about a raceboat.

Thanks
Mark

Awesome. OPA is near you and a great bunch of guy's. P-Class racing would be perfect for your new boat!

Thanks Mark. I look forward to the finished product. Will there be any cabin type finishing under the deck ( if the customer chooses) ? Is the red boat for a customer or just for development ?
Joker congrats on your Victory last weekend !

I like the "P" Class racing for what it is but had F-1 in mind for his new 28. I read his history and "P" Class is not his cup of tea. Just my .02 cents.

CMC

The standard set-up under the deck is empty, only a carpet up to the front. This is my Vee bottom version of a 28 Skater.

The red boat needs to go to the Toronto boatshow, other than that, it is available.

I just found this post about the Tuff 28, cool to see it here.

Ya P class racing..... it to me is bracket racing...... meaning no racing at all.
Joker, you should research Mark from Tuff...... he can walk the walk, and raced when racing was real, and in rough water.

Offshore Racing is real now. I saw his past racing . Get the 28 in Factory 1 or P-Class and go racing , period. Activator , Kryptonite , Joker , Pantera , Super Boat , Velocity and many others are ready. Matter of fact I'm building a brand new F1 Boat now. It's not going to a boat show , it's going racing!
