My Offshore Confession
For years I grew up around boats. Mostly 30-40' Convertibles and Sport Fishermen. I know big block Crusader inboards, atrocious fuel consumption, and 18kt cruise.
As much as I've always lusted after a nice classic Cigarette, I realized today......I've never been on a real Go-Fast boat. So for all you guys who just ran out of season and are pounding keyboard until the winter thaws out, remember, there's always someone (me) it sucks for more than you!

It ain't all that bad. We pulled ours out yesterday for the yr. I'm ready to tear into it tinkering/upgrading/piddeling with it already. Got my to do list for this winter.
I boat yr round. 4 months of it just happens to be in my garage.

LOL same here, I SWEAT boats...
Baddest one I've ever been was a 24' Baja Outlaw. When I was 12 years old, I thought it was BADDER than bad.
All I've been doing for the past 3 years is looking at used Apaches. I'll get there one day. I figure I'll give myself 5 years. If I'm 26, and still boatless..... I guess I'll try my hand at bank robbin'

HA--- I've been on plenty of them and even scary fast ones... but I am 26 now... boatless ( I have 2 sailboats) Had back surgery so I can't boat for a while and my wife and I had a baby and she doesn't want the money spent on a boat... you guys don't have it that bad.
