This is why U have bullet proof glass in a Dyno room
 
There claiming 522 chevy with an F3 procharger on the dyno with a soft tune up and no intercooler.. 1239 hp and 1033 tq. with onlly 14 degrees timing and 18psi. btw it bows the intake tube off on the dyno.I bet its a drag car motor not marine :eek:

Steve builds a lot of very nice pro-street and drag engines. Also some marine and circle stuff.

I remember the first pull to 5300, that wasn't so bad.... Couple pulls and I got used to it.... Then we bumped it up to 5600..... :rolleyes: Then a couple @ 5800, that's when I left the room... :eek:

Felt like I was playing the slots at AC.. :drink:


Now, watching the 1100 PSI motor that was at Zuls, that was fun! cause it wasn't mine! :evilb:

not me , if it's gonna let go , i'd like to see it happen...not get a phone call saying , "ah , your chit just blew windows in the pan" :D

that is why we had all those straps around my engines when we dynoed them. we have had a hose blow off in the engine compartment and lift the hatch up.
