"THANK GOD IT'S A BERTRAM"
Hey guys,
Back in the Mid 80's , there was a Bertram Ad out, that showed what appeared to be Bertram SportFish Making its way through one hell of a Sea, with the Caption Saying, "Thank God Its A Bertram", I always loved this ad and was just wondering if anyone out there has seen it, or could post a pic of the ad. |
Re: "THANK GOD IT'S A BERTRAM"
I believe you can still get the poster from them...

Re: "THANK GOD IT'S A BERTRAM"
I remember that add as a kid in Boating magazine.....Fond memories when I was a kid my parents had a 60' Hatteras sportfish enclosed Flybrige we used to keep at Millers Marina in Boca Grande. Remember asking my dad " can our boat do that?"
I too would love to see that add again. Bryan |

Re: "THANK GOD IT'S A BERTRAM"
Didn't they also have an ad that showed a drawing of one on the front of a wave about 20 feet in the air and it was a depiction of an actual event??

Re: "THANK GOD IT'S A BERTRAM"
Thank God it is Betram, except if you lose an engine on the old boats, because the rudders are so small, you go in circles and can't get back.
Solution, upsize the rudders. |
