Calling All Florida OSO members

Do you guys pay property taxes on your documented boats? Some fire chief from KY attended a seminar in Florida recently about collecting property taxes on documented boats. Now the state of KY is going into the USCG data base and finding all the documented boat in the state and collecting back taxes on our boats along with sales tax. Looking for a answer.

Nope, just pay the sales tax on the boat when you register the boat in FL. Just the boat, not the trailer.
