T2x, I am sure most people would like to hear your thoughts on the current state of Offshore racing.
|
Nah!!!! I'm sure "most people" are much more interested in ending terrorism. I know I am.
Besides ... on either topic my viewpoints won't be pretty.... or flattering. [ 09-27-2001: Message edited by: T2x ] |
Ok guys how about this one. Nominations for most memorable cat in offshore racing history.
Mine is for the 35' Jesse James. Closely followed by the Gentry Cougar Cat. This one should help get that post count up some. ;) Ken jr. |
first let me say thank you and please keep it up. second i would like to here your thoughts on surface drives and a rudder vs. standard #6's.
favorite race boat..old school "spirt of the amason" new school "coca-cola" love those 4 eng boats :D :D :D :D |
Didn't realize this was a post count thing.I helped my friend work on his 39 Ocean Express,he bought a bare hull and custom rigged it himself. The more I was around the boat ,I knew I had to have one. I bought an older Image with Arnesons and love it. Don't underestimate the smaller boat companies. It's the only way I could afford the fun of a big cat.

Gofstcat,
I think the coke boat was a Great pick. just my .02 on the drive question I think as far as speed and efficiency the surface drives have shown some great stuff,That technology just needs more proving\visability and people will have greater interest and as far as durability the #6 are awesome. just my .02.
