Default Miami Boat Show Hotels?

I know this has been a thread before and I also know that I may be late regarding availability however, anyone have suggestions on hotels that may be reasonably priced? I called a couple 3-star and they are all over $400 and require a 4 night minimum and I can only manage 3 nights. HELP!

A friend of mine called the Fontainebleu this week and got a studio for only 2 nights.
I booked 5 nights there in June and the rate varied from $360 on tues.-wed. to $620
on fri.-sat.

Hotels are far a few in between.....do a hotel search on Hotels.com and call from there. Quite a few of the hotels have been torn down to build new and that drove the room prices up and sent rooms into obscurity

Try the Betsy Ross in south beach. I stayed there last year and they were just starting renovations. Great spot and fair prices for South Beach.
