Terrible boat, there wasnt one thing I liked nor felt safe in it. The Cig was my first step boat, (traded in my 96 Powerquest Vyper) and was poorly engineered as to step placement. Porpoised, from side to side, azz end always felt loose and unconnected to the water. I bought it as a demo at the in water show in Racine, WI. I ended trading it back to the dealer for a 42 Sonic. I said the hell with Steps at that point. After the Sonic I ended building a 37 A.T.- Radio active which was night and day, this single step is well engineered and it actually did everything my larger Sonic did but better. Flew level, didn't skip in turns over 45 mph and so on. Then I went to Nortech, I'm having my second one built, again totally different ride quality. Jeff

I was going to say...if your shopping 38'ers....check out a 37 Active Thunder. That is the only boat I would have wanted over the 382 Fastech I have now.
