Any Ilmor/Viper Movies?
 

I've wondered for awhile what these sound like out on the water. I figured I might as well post up and see if any of you have been holding out on me.

I'd love to hear one/two of them on the open water WFO. Lets see/hear it!

They sound like a fleet of ups trucks racing to the dount shop.

They are bad a$$ engines, but don't sound that good at idle. Nice sound at top end, but I still prefer the rumble and roar of a V-8...just my $0.02.

sounds great to me.
i'd like a pair of those in a 28-30ft'er. lighter than a sbc.
but that seemed like a narrow body of water to be movin at those speeds.

mixed feelings....like the sound at WOT. At idle and coming on to plane it sounds like a V6 w/ a fart can.

Marginmn has a pair in his fountain. When that boat is at WOT it sounds like an Indy car on steroids!!

We boat on Lake Cumberland and you can hear the distinctive sound of those motors for miles. It sounds like nothing else on the lake.

Another point to consider is those are the 550's ....... i would like to hear the new 710's WFO.....
