Scotty and I have not been kind to these drives this year. turbines are throttled a little different than piston so there was a tremendous amount of stress put on them. only problem all season: a bearing in one drive needed replacment. That alone is a testament to this style driveline.
It works.
On the Chip was unbelievable on Sat both of them were racing very hard. That race will go down as one of the classic duels between cat an V

Now if your complaint is about high insurance rates...I agree ...but I personally believe a great part of this is due to fraud.
Stop by the pit's next year and I'll buy you a cold Bud Sellect walk you through the cockpit and power plants on the Turbine Geico boat....

ps. we love our BPM's

Offshoredrill,
no win here...I just race the boat.
funny..
"umm because its a rudder boat, and they dont need the drives to move..."
and don't want them too!. We entered the turns between 140 150 mph in some cases ....At this point (and with us being the rookies on the extreme team) I'd just assume things stay fixed back there...no surprises
The offseason for Miss Geico will be very busy. We are assembiling the best in the business to prepare the Boat for 07.
Thanks for everyones support this year.
