that's been for sale forever. I love Skaters, but the design doesn't scale down that well to a 24' boat. That thing is fat and ugly. Probably runs like hell tho......

If someone wanted a Skater, they'd be better off gettting a used 28 for half the price (if they could find one)....

Maybe it's just me, but Lake "Dreamer"land Marine seems to be awfully high on all of their prices. I've seen boats equivalent to my old one, same year/model/power/options, asking $10K more than I sold mine for 4 years ago. I'm assuming they must get it, though.

take 40%+ of the asking price when you go threw a dealer :)

I inquired about that boat before last summer. It is a custom cut down, so I guess that justifies the outrageous cost?

I think they will have a hard time getting 100k. Used 24 Skaters sell for under 40k with twin ob's.

I never understood the over pricing thing myself. One would think for an average boat shopper that checks out the Boat Trader, NADA, websites classifieds and such, as soon as they seen LCM's prices, they'd pass on over LCM.

That's ridiculous!!!I had to send them and email and ask who lit the crack pipe before placing that ad. What can be so special to make a 24 Skater 240K???

1 off custom cut down , or , messed up out of the mold , cut off the bad sections , get out the resin bucket , glue it back together and call it a special edition custom at twice the normal price with some fancy rigging and bells and whistles. :evilb:
