Photos from when it started:
I was going through some old photos, and came across these. These pics were taken in the first week of May, 2001.
My Dad happened to be in town the day that I picked up the Sonic. He was more ecstatic than I was.
(Before Craig chimes in; this was pre- airbags, pre- WD hitches, and pre- rear tie-downs. I did buy the tie-downs 200 feet down the road at the trailer shop before heading home though. Its a wonder I made it home. And BTW GLH, I owned the whole deal; no rentals.)
I don't regret selling the Sonic, even though it was an awesome and flawless performer. 3 seasons of hard learning, and only a tiny oil leak. There is not a week that goes by that I don't wish I still had the 2-door Tahoe as a fun-truck.
