I agree about the Awards show, was a little confusing as the pre show was on Speed and the Awards was on TNT, I think. Wow,, you do have a problem, both races the same weekend. is Long Island Sunday or Saturday? Can fly out to TN and do both races. I done things like that before. Several Airports in that area of NY have time to work that out until Aug. Yes, can't wait for Feb, I'll warm up with the 24 hours of Daytona. See a lot more of the Cup guys are trying to get rides this year. Still remember seeing Tony S trying to win it a couple of years back. He put on a show for the circuit guys that year. Jim First year I watched the 24 hrs of Daytona was when Jr and his dad participated. I loved Srs quote about letting Dale Jr run the middle of the night part of the race because he was used to being awake during those hours anyway :D The race in LI will be on Sunday so .. in theory I could do both .... I do have a good friend (x-driver) who is a private pilot ... maybe he can talk his boss into lettin me borrow the jet ... I only need it for a one way trip :drink: Tony Stewart has been known to lend his plane to people in need ... It definitely was a good one. Nothing beats Key West for the worlds but Id love to go back to Destin for another race. AJ's was great.... and I met a lot of wonderful people there:evilb: |
It was also one of my favorites. Very nice town and great people. Winning also helps.
