I woud not call the 39 Cig lines outdated. The Ol lines are alot more futuristic and contemporary looking ( if thats what you like). However, the Cig cockpit looks alot nicer (fit and finish) than the Ol Quattro and the whole boat retains more of that classic performance boat look. Again, both top notch boats ,its all personal preference.

I am not sure what you mean in regard to the following:

When you say, "performance is more important..." are you talking top speed, or ability to run in all types of water?

What do you mean, specifically, with your comment to, "in reality they're "Oudated Lines"? I thought Cigarette just changed both their 38/39 in regard to both "length" & "body style"? It seems there might be more "new sale" 42OL's, but I just don't seem to see that many 39's (38's/37's... what ever the actual length is... not arguing over the #'s.... but, really am just unclear in regard to your comments).

P.S. It's great that we are able to have this discussion.... competition ALWAYS improves everything. Thanks OL for building an "A" class boat and committing as much as you have to the sport ---- Poker Run & Racing included.

It's great to have Pier 57 now involved as well. David Woods is adding another new dimension to the Cigarette Poker Running World. I looooove you guys, man~! :D

From what I have seen (which is few) I would half to give Cigarette the best fit & finish. when you do something so Many times it becomes easier to do correct. I also think the cig will ride better (quiet) the O|L may be a few mph faster. also resale I think the cig will be easier to sell.. Just my 02ct.

The attention to detail on both boats is outstanding. I just like the way the Cigarette look's in and out of the water. The Cigarette cabins are simple and functional. Hell this guy has a gen, ac and a home theater in the cabin for his kids and I do like the Cockpits in every Cigarette. For some reason they give you that WOW factor.

I should know better than to say anything at all derogitory about Cigarette on this website....fact is the deck design hasn't changed in decades, Take away all fancy colors and bling in the interior and the "LINES" are outdated. Yes i'm talking about the lines, the shape, it's old. Cig does do a good job making the old lines look up to date, but if you compared a Cig and an OL both in all white, the Cigs "lines" ARE outdated.

The Cigs and OL are both beautifull boats in very different ways. You wanna talk about dated looks..... hello.....FOUNTAIN..... an 07 looks like a friggin 92 for christs sake..... ZERO style..... :drink:
