The headroom isnt that much different on the 42 OL vs the 39, I believe 1". If length is not what you're after (43 Nortech) the 39 Nortech which is just over 40' has 5'10" of real headroom and is very spacious below. The speed will be within 4 - 5 mph of the OL assuming they are not propped for top end, real world speeds, not the boat's that are sent for the mags to test. Comfort of ride is also better, smoother, softer landings, different layup on bottom, also larger cockpit, cabin and so on, that's how Nortech's are set up. If you want speed, no question about it, get the OL, I particularly dont care for this 39 model, always loved the 37, and the 46' is my favorite of the OL group. There is a thread on OL, Cig, and Nortech floating around, check it out, and good luck. Jeff

Matter of fact, if I can sell my boat I will be buying a Cigarette Gladiator or Donzi 38zrComp. I like a sit down boat.

Tom, I wasn't specifically speaking of you. I was refering to some opinions that people want to buy a cigarette purely because of name recognition, like some buy a rolex just because its a rolex and no other reason than name recognition. My point was that it goes a little deeper than that, which you agree with. :drink:

By the way Tank,
If I haven't said it before, I love what you did with the wrap on your boat. It really looks great :drink:
