Always beach on the sand. Few small scatches underneath but who cares, I can't see them from the drivers seat.

No beaches on tablerock. I do like to tie up to other boats at party cove, and if somebody has a nice dock with music and outdoor kitchen...thats the spot.

Its all about technique, I have seen a boat which has shown wear through the gelcoat from beaching...I would geuss the number of times it was beached was well over a thousand at the time i inspected it. The boat was pulled up to the beach and held in gear while passengers were loaded and unloaded from the bow on a daily basis, i did it quite often and let me tell you, nothing scared me more than sitting there with a prop spinning while tourists swam all around tryin to keep from getting tossed high and dry by a swell.

My cat is ok on the beach. Easy on, easy off. If there is any scuffing, it so far back that I can't see it.

Like anything else......you have to do it right if you're going to do it at all. Find a great spot and just back it on to the beach carefully. Watch out for drift wood.
