The sand on the side of the boat Just think of the sandy feet that walked back across the deck to get back in the boat. There's no way to get all the sand off your feet. Most girls will not swim to the back to get in the boat. And just think of the wake action on the keel rocking back in forth wedged up on the beach.

No way i would push the bow in the sand. All our hangouts here are in 3-4 ft. of water so we can drop the hook.

It totally depends where you are beaching the boat. I was a little nervous about doing it the first time, but as long as you know the beach and pay attention to what you are doing, I don't think it has to hurt the boat. I have only beached it a few times, across from AJ's in Destin at boat week, where I know it's all fine sand with no rocks. I also made sure I glided in gently, pulled the drives up, and checked that the water was at least 4 feet deep off the transom. I checked the keel afterwards and no harm done. It can be fun when there's a beach party going on right off the front of your boat.

Stop being little girls!!!!!!! Don't be a puss! Use the boat and hit the sandy beach. If it starts to wear or get a scratch....fix it! Geez!! Mamby pamby! Do you think the boat is going to appreciate the longer you have it too?
