Might do a quick search on this one. Been discussed at great length numerous times.

Seems to be some pretty strong feelings both ways. Kind of like bare feet only on the boat.

Thumbs down Re: Beach your boat on the sand? or no

how can sand be good for your hull, it is like putting 400 grit sand paper on your trailer and slowly rocking it or on a rough day 80grit

Never happened to me but confirmed no good to do it... Water inlet sucked sand, engine overheated, flushed it many times, still overheated, so on and so on. Instead, drop the anchor, step in water even if you have water up to your...thermometer, and walk to the beach trouble free!

Throw out the anchor and have the woman walk onto the beach and tie you off.

I've done it now and then but I scope out the beach before and only push it in not on power. Same going off.

Also it has to be a Fountain kind of weather day (flat as a pancake)

Done either for cleaning or for the kids.

How about a few Cigs @ the sand bar in Havasu?

Beaching is no biggie, just gotta be careful.
