Signature boats... interesting find
My grandfather found this old boat, he says it has sat here for 5+ years and hasn't moved. I know it has been outside, which is bad, but what do you guys think this thing is worth? I want tho be sure and have all my ducks in a row before I contact the owner.
I think it is a Signature 38 the vin # reads XV380160678
Thanks for your help (any will be appreciated) and does anyone know the boat, I think it is out of Michigan.
If the boat is stollen and left here; I have been screwed by an insurance company before on a boat salvage and am not interested in even telling them where it is located without a finders fee.

there a nice rough water boat there's one at onset bay marine in mass it was built using the old molds by someone on the cape that made a mess out of it. onset reworked the boat glass, stringers bulkheads and custom paint job with alwgrip reversed flames then cleared all for 60,000 I think back in 96 97 I thing the owner said it now bashes through anything when before it would flex a lot. nice lines too.

The guy that does everyones props around here (Brian/Valley Propeller) has a 33 (I believe) signature in KILLER condition sitting on a trailer in the back of his shop. It's been there for a good 10-15 years. No motors/drives. I believe the transom isn't cut.
