Default Lake Champlain Boating

If you guys were to pick a good spot for a summer lake home that is relatively close to skiing where would it be?

If you want a great skiing area, Stowe, Vt, has the best groomed trails around. If in NY, i would suggest Whiteface.

Stowe is much closer to Lake Champlain for the summer. Would like the best of both worlds in one spot.
