Post How many buying new boats this season?

I want to live vicariously through you...LOL!

How many of you are getting (or just got) new (brand new or used new) boats for this season?

What did you have and what are you getting (or got already)?

What boat is this for you? (ie. how many others did you own before this?)

I'm trying. I would like a used, or a left over new model, but I still haven't sold mine so I have to work a trade, which makes it difficult.

I've made offers on two different used cig's from two different dealers who say they take trades only to tell me they don't want to take a trade on the particular boat that I want to buy or they aren't interested in the boat I already own. One was brokered, so that's understandable I guess.

But it's still winter. Spring is a ways away so I have plenty of time to shop.

---
Since I'm getting so much kind help , I thought I'd better put more detail in... I'm looking for a mid 1990's cig, or a 35' Fountain Classic 1995 - 2001, the 2001 preferably a new leftover. My current boat is the Mach1 listed in the "other" section at the end. --Thanks!

I'd like to sell my 32, and order an advantage a 40, but I dont have mine advertised yet, but I plan on doing a real crazy graphics scheme, lots of colors on the top deck, sides, and bottom, and matching the interior and cabin, and the plan is to order it fully finished minus motors and drives, building two 540's and doing all the rigging myself. I've got a friend building two new 540's for another friends cafe racer right now and It's so much more economical than going with factory power. That's the plan. Still got a 26 cat w/t 2.4's for sale on my homepage.

I just got my new(used)1995 37 Outerlimits last week.

I now have two boats , I also have a 38 Cigarette. I guess the Cig. has to go, maybe.

This probably makes it about # 25 or So.

My dad is going to pick up the new 28' Magic Cat this weekend. Was running a 2001 25 Outlaw that is up for sale.

This is boat number 5 for me. My last was an 25 Active Thunder that I just sold. My new one is a Active Thunder 37 AVH with twin 500efi xr drives.

Thumbs up

I found a real clean Cig Top Gun at Lip Ship I have been sitting by the phone all day waiting for the green light from the bank. If all goes well I`ll be driving down to Miami leaving Monday morning and going for the sea trial
I am so excited, I feel like a little kid!
If I go I`ll take in the Miami boat show at the end of the week.

cant sleep at night, Kurt

I sold a 1972 18' Sutphen (370 hp small block) last August and bought a real clean 223 Formula (Merc 425/Bravo1) in Dec.. These last two months have been the longest of my life. I saved a bunch of $ by buying when I did but the next time I buy it will be in April or May.COME ON WARM WEATHER

Currently trying to decide between a leftover 2001 29 Fountain Fever with HP500EFI at a ridiculously low price or a 2002 Formula 292 FasTech with twin 6.2 MX's. Both should run about the same speed. Price is a few thousand different. Formula seems to be a bigger boat than the Fountain, but I like the performance of the Fountain with the user friendliness of a single HP500. Decisions Decisions.
