Larry Smith builds a damn nice boat. Probably not your best choice in rough water. Would be faster on lakes with equivalent power. You could go just as fast with somewhat less power and drives that don't suck power like 6's.

Saber would be wave crusher.

Chris Sunkin-The LS boat is a very good choice for rough water, its no lake boat. Built tough and no pad. But your right Apache is god. :cool:

Saber is a nice boat but I have a staggered LS 38 with 2400+ HP Rough or Calm She is up for the run. Can't beat what you get in a LS for the price Sabers are nice if the $$$$$ aren't being considered.

I don't think that you could go wrong either choice. However Saber got my vote because I am a little biased. :D I can't personally speak for LS's build quality but I am shure it is excellant. I can speak for Sabers quality & it is second to none in my humble opinion. My 28 had BIG power, ran over 100 mph , Was used on the great lakes ( which we all know can be very nasty.) Was ran very hard & it still looks like a brand new boat in every way !!! The boat doesn't have the slightest hint of a stress crack anywhere. So I believe I will have my Saber !

Where is the boat apache on this poll? Why not stay in the apache forum and talk about the Apache markek and piss off all the apache owners? 2 of the 4 41 sabers ever made sold last year on the open market. Seems like better success than what you are having. NK

The Saber is a lot bigger boat and I assume heavier. Both being straight bottom v's it seems like the scarab might have a little advantage in calm and the 41 in rough. Just my .02 cents worth. NK

Just got back on OSO after a couple weeks and I am a huge Saber and Apache fan!! Toughest boats ever!! After reading the stupid **** you're saying on your posts, you obviously don't know what the **** you are talking about and are just looking for a fight. Saber is Apache!! Funny how 3 of the 4 41's all go over 100mph and the 4th and 98. There might be a couple of of LS out there that are fast boats but put them in some nice waves with a 41 Saber, bring a tape measure buddy so you can measure how high the rooster tale is as if flies by you!!

Saber all the way! Nothing against the the LS's, bad ass boats, just won't hang with a 41 Saber.

Papache has the worlds fastest apache, 124mph so he has to know what he is talking about. :D :D How else would he have such great achievments ?
