What do youmean the first hull was retired? Did you sell it? Or just not using it anymore? What kind of speed did you see with the 525's. I thought that was what was in there?

The prototype hull is now a display outside the shop. Remember the first one was the mule we did a lot of modifying to get to where we are now. While the first one did perform well we had a vacume problem under the hull to fix and we had our ballance off in relation to the step placement so it was much easer to just build a new hull. We had a pair of 850's in the first boat . It ran the length of Havasu at 100 mph at 5200 rpm. I also ran it at Pittsburg Calif and it ran 114 mph in 4-5 ft seas with no problems but did not really push it hard as we were still testing the hull. I expect to be able to run an honest 100 mph with 525's . Will be on the water in march for testing and to dial it in. Will be at Parker Arizona in April for there PowerBoat Mag reviews and at Desert Storm April 28-29 ,07 for the PokerRun.
Thanks Wayne

Drives on this one are Teague Platinum's. These will provide a lot of leverage that we could not get with the Arnesons . The Arnesons worked great but need to see also how it handles with bravo based drives also .

Thanks Wayne

The prototype was a certified 7450 lbs fully rigged (no fuel) and I expect to be lighter on this one.
Yes we can make it 4 feet shorter or more . I could get it under 7000 lbs easy but we still need some weight to displace water in this large of boat .Adding weight is easy .

I plan to have the boat at LOTO the end of Augest for the Shootout ,planning on being there the week before to have the boat on display somewhere. I have been in contact with Jim at Midwest marine there about haveing the boat there . Can someone tell me who the largest dealer is at LOTO.

Thanks Wayne
