Flash G. Fun Run...
I have talked with Kelli and Dave and we are all interested in having an event in memory of Flash Gordon and Ann. We know they loved the beauty of Ouachita so we want to have an event here. We can put together a small entry fee that will go to charity and get merchandise donated for an auction. Mountain Harbor has cabins, condos and rooms that I can get at a discounted rate. It also has guest docks with power and the world's only floating subway at the marina. We have plenty of local bands and catering that I can get to setup on the property. If you have never been to Ouachita then you need to be here. The scenery is second to none. We are thinking April or May. I need to get everyone's thoughts and opinions? We are open to everyone's input on getting together a great weekend for friends and OSO. Thanks, Donnie

You are right, it is BEAUTIFUL. Nothing like boating and seeing bears and eagles. It would be a good chance for me to bring the boat back home and let some of my family enjoy it also. Late April to early May would probably be good for us. Keep everyone posted. Mark |

We're in for sure. We had a great time at the run last year and the lake is awesome......
Late April or early may would be great as long as it don't over lap the weekend of the "planned" OSS race at Greers ferry..... LF |

It's a little early for me to say yes, but I'll sure try to plan around whatever date you pick. Also, I have a couple or three other boats that will want to go. They always went when Flash put it on, I don't know why they wouldn't go now. Just try not to conflict with other runs like the Tickfaw 200 and the Royal Purple. :cool:
