The boat ran great! It is built like a brick sh!t house. I now have to deal with the mufflers and start experimenting with props. The ocean didnt cooperate the later half of the week, so we didnt get to really wring out the top speed number.

With 5 blades and 525's you should be running low 80's all day long. The black 38 ran as fast as 84 but I couldn't get it past 82 the last time I ran it.

Is that boat staying in FL for the winter?

:drool: Boy! your sure making me jealous. Not only because of that awesome 38PP, but the fact that your using it in Florida. I would like to bring my 33 down there again next winter. Have fun Chris!

I read in a older Hotboat mag article about the 38 Powerplay.
Dan W. said that the 38 would run about the same speed as the 33 with equal power. Should run mid 80's
