lookin great! i like the way you did the rear seat headrests.

This project is way cool, the conversion to 4 in the back is making good use of the space. That was the only thing I didn't personally care for on the MTI's. Other than that I think they are a great boats, love the 55:cool: , simple and clean. Jeff

progress has slowed down .. seems like the finish work takes FOREVER..but its getting close to going to paint..talked with sterling and the motors are getting real close.. first dyno pull 953hp on 93 ...its great to deal with such a great company..couple shots floors going in for bathroom/cabin areas.. putting some ugly gelcoat on just to seal everything..

Looks great, Nick. Seeing this in person made me realize what a large undertaking this is, but the payoff will be nice. It really adds quite an appreciable amount of room in the cockpit, it'll be a real nice rig. These guys are awesome craftsman.

thanks for all the great comments..the boat is now in north carolina.. at the paint shop..hope to get it back in 4 weeks or so.. both motors have been dynoed at sterling.. brand new #6s are on the shelve.. new herrings in the box.. just need to get the boat back so i can put it together..will post pics of the paint .. thanks again..

sorry for the delays.. couldnt post pics.... only had 1 week to completly rig ,install drives ,motors.wire the whole thing .. boat runs incredible .. .. will keep posting pics..

In addition to your regular hatches you should have clear lexan hatches made and use them at poker runs and special events, looks sharp.

You need to post some before & afters so others can get a real idea of what took place. Incredible custom project you took on & awesome finished product accomplished in less time than most can build a production boat.

will post some pics as soon as possible.. still doing some finish touches.. on cockpit, interior ,, exhaust bezels,some minor stuff,, have ran boat up to 140 so far still have more to go.. all and all its going great for the major surgey the boat has underwent .. just trying to get it ready for 1000 islands.....By the way the next victim is on the chopping block>>>>>
