I had the plate removed, but it still had the mufflers intact. Ended up buying a pair of stainless steal tips with internal flappers. Too much time it looked to invest for removing those mufflers. Made a good sound difference too, boat sounds much better now with straight pipes.

I dont recomend tampering with the corsa muffs.. You are much better off replacing the whole tip with a straight thru & internall flapper.. By just removing the the baffles only & leaving empty you run the risk of water getting pushed in while backiing up or launching, or a rogue wave.. Give me a shout if you need them.. I carry several different ones.. :) jamie / Lakeside 570-639-2628

Call Jim Browning jr at Corsa. www.corsaperf.com He is a super nice guy has made tips for me in the past with o mufflers. They are not a lot of $ and could save some hassle. Give him a call anyway he may have some options.

We can get you the corsa stuff as well... We are a distributor for them.. If you have 6.5" outer exhaust diamerter tips I would almost certaniley suggest that you have the corsa straight thru replacments for them.. We can have corsa make them for you.. & Jim does a good job there @ taking care of us for that stuff...

However nothinig against corsa, but If you have 6" or smaller exhaust cans currently then you have another option. I can get you standard thru hulls either straight cut or slash cut with internal flappers in full polished ss thru one of our other vendors. The reason I say this is it usually saves some coin between the 2 brands..

Let me know if I can help you yet.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
