Boats for sale on I-55 in Southern IL
 

I was driving down I-55 in souothern IL and saw an old "Navy SEAL" boat and a big full canopy boat for sale along the side of the highway. I wondered what the full canopy boat was and if anyone had any info on it. I drive a bit too fast to get the number off the For Sale sign.

Would those belong to "Little Jim"?
He had a rough navy seal boat with 572s and SSMs.
He also had an itialian ex-raceboat with canopy. It had one BIG step and ran 3 diesels.
You got a location? Is it near a big ferris wheel?

Yes, it's "Little Jim's". Just South of Springfield at the non-infamous Punkies Palace. I don't have contact info though...

The italian racer was set up for seatec diesels, I think. And strait shaft drives out the transom.
It's completely stripped. It' a heavy boat and I'm sure what would effectively power it or how well the strait shaft, non-trimmable drives would work.
One interesting point, the diesel exhaust is vented out the step underneath the boat.
I was under the impression that boat was old to "Big Iron" Steve at LOTO.

The big boat looks like Harry Schol's Infinity, it was raced a few times as Varn's Infinity.........
