Got no dog in this hunt but at the OSS worlds in Destin the OL Super Vee passed at least 3 or 4 of the Super Cat Lite boats....I believe both of those classes were running the same power

so I guess you don't work at Wal-Mart?

Yes, GatorOne 47 OL was first at every stop. Reggie was driving stock Fountains 47 w/ triple 525. One of the Rio Roses boat was the only Fountain that was a contender but he had some motor issues I think.

Gator and his boat are impressive and I enjoyed my short chat with the OL gangsters

You are correct about a couple things here. The GTX was the first boat at the morning card stops. GTX had a pr. of 1075's, 3 people on board. Reggie drove Shogrens 47 that had the 600 package in it, with 7 people onboard including a camera crew. The waves were not 4-6's in the morning, they were more like 6-8's with an occasional 10 ftr thrown in here and there. Ask anyone that was there, I was, so it's not just hearsay.
The Rio Roses 42 canopy boat, owned by "Shockwave" here on the board, had a pr. of 750's in it. He missed the first leg that was the real brutal one, because of an electrical problem with the starter, that occured when he first went to leave the dock. Mike and Rich T. had the wires and cables changed. and were ready for the second leg that ran after the lunch.

Everyone that ran the first leg of that 65 miles, took a real beating, even the OL guys, and they admitted it afterwards.

All in all, everyone had a great time, noone got hurt, and all were shown how nasty lake Michigan can get.

I absolutely love reading these threads as I live vicariously through these anecdotes. Hopefully we will be back soon and can join in the fun for real.

Keep it up and enjoy it to the fullest extent possible......there is no place else on earth so many can participate in such a great debate as this......than in the good ole' USA.
